Tiffany has been a licensed esthetician since 2011. In addition, she has also worked as a journalist, producer, documentary filmmaker, and copywriter. She began her career working as an Assignment Editor in a TV newsroom, eventually becoming a reporter and producer for the TV’s sister radio station.
After working in TV in California, Medois moved to New York where she worked for ABC’s The View. While at The View, she was asked by the show’s makeup artist, Eve Pearl, to write a piece about lipstick for her book, Plastic Surgery Without the Surgery: The Miracle of Makeup Techniques. Medois was also featured in the book as well as appearing on its cover. Later, she went back to her newsroom roots to work as a writer for CBS Newsradio in New York.
Upon returning to California, she wrote for the website of fashion retail chain, Hot Topic, where she also created the brand’s first-ever blog—all this before earning a Master of Public Health. After completing her degree, she provided skin care education and conducted sales for a Southern California spa. She soon enrolled in esthetics school, completing her coursework to become a California licensed esthetician.
While working independently as an esthetician, Medois also worked as a Medical Editor for the legacy medical publishing company, Audio Digest Foundation, where she produced monthly continuing medical education programs for an audience of 30,000 physicians.
As an esthetician, she apprenticed for celebrity esthetician, Trina Renea, of Facial Bungalow in West Hollywood, and later worked as an esthetician for Blue Diamond Spa, in Los Angeles.
Medois founded the National Black Estheticians’ Week (NBEW), in 2020, an annual event and celebration, as a way to raise the visibility of Black Estheticians and the needs of clients with skin of color.
Additionally, Medois has worked as a senior copywriter for Mattel, writing for brands such as: Barbie, WWE, Minecraft, Polly Pocket and other household names.
